Develop your creative Practice

I’m currently supported by Arts Council England’s Develop Your Creative Practice fund to develop Half The World Away — a previous theatre piece created in collaboration with Box of Tricks — into a new form. The project is an experiment in translation, exploring what happens when a story built for the stage is reworked for a different medium, and how narrative, rhythm, intimacy and audience connection shift in the process.

The aim is to emerge with a new iteration of Half The World Away in another medium, alongside a deeper, practical understanding of how my writing adapts across forms. This process is about stretching my craft, testing new approaches, and opening the work up to future creative and production possibilities.
